About Peppermint Essential Oil

Pure peppermint essential oil is steam-distilled from the leaves and flowering tops of Mentha piperita, a natural hybrid of watermint and spearmint. The best oils are rich in naturally occurring menthol, which gives peppermint its signature icy sensation.

The aroma is sharp, minty, and intensely fresh with a sweet, candy-like undertone. A single drop can transform a room — this is one of the most potent oils in aromatherapy, and a little goes a very long way.
